When my husband Mike and I opened SantaLucia Travel, LLC in 2013, we had the primary ambition to help people see the world while making memories with the people they love, just as we did with our family when our two sons accompanied us on travel to dozens of countries by land and sea while they were young. As a former elementary school teacher, I have a passion for family travel and truly believe in the value of culturally immersive experiences. Travel has been invaluable in the lives of our children as well as us as parents.

We've immersed our family in the culture and history everywhere we've traveled, criss-crossing the globe from Estonia to New Zealand with numerous trip to Europe, the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska, and even Oceania in the land Down Under and New Zealand. Each journey creating not only memorable experiences for our children, but also firsthand personal knowledge to Mike and I in some of the top destinations throughout the world, including multiple trips to Europe visiting Ireland, Scotland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Spain, Italy, as well as the Scandanavian countries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and even Estonia and Russia in the Baltics! Ireland and Scotland in particular have a special place in my heart as my roots trace back to both of these amazing countries.

Domestically, there is no place we love more than the sun-kissed shores of Hawaii. I am a graduate of The Travel Institute's Certified Travel Associate (CTA) program as well as an Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) with the Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA). I constantly stay on top of the ever-changing theme parks, particularly Walt Disney World which touched my heart as a child and the magic continues to this day. In addition to annually keeping up with the numerous training opportunities in Disney's College of Knowledge certification program, I also personally travel to the parks multiple times each year.

I can't thank you enough for the amazing week you orchestrated for my family. For the past 2 years we've been struggling with an incurable stage 4 cancer diagnosis, a parkinson's diagnosis, and now our 3 year old grandson is facing surgery for Hirschsprung disease. A Disney vacation was a chance to forget about everything for a little while, however with 15 people and 7 of the 15 being between 2 and 8, we knew there would be stress worked into the escape. You have taken all of the stress out of the equation. Thank you for guiding us and dealing with all of our repeated questions & turmoil and contacting management about our stay.
